Your water meter is the key to knowing your household water usage. The reading from your water meter determines the amount you are charged every month through your water bill. You can read the meter yourself to verify your bill, monitor your water use, check for suspected leaks.
Most of the residential meters are located at the front portion of the yard or along the exterior of the front fence.
How to read your meter :
- Lift the meter cap to reveal the meter’s dial.
- Read and note down the black digits from the odometer. This is your current reading.
- Subtract your previous reading from your current reading to know how many cubic meters you have used since the last reading.
- After reading, close the meter cap to prevent damage to the lens.
